UX Engineer

Location: Raymond, OH

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Infotainment UX Engineer on behalf of our client in Raymond, OH. This role is ideal for a UX professional passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for next-generation infotainment systems. The successful candidate will leverage user research, usability testing, and interactive prototyping to design innovative solutions that enhance the overall customer experience.

• Conduct user research, usability studies, and customer experience evaluations to identify user needs and behaviors.
• Analyze research findings and translate insights into impactful design recommendations.
• Perform product benchmarking and competitive analysis to support product innovation.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user experience concepts for infotainment applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and product stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and design documentation to communicate research findings and design strategies.
• Support the validation and refinement of UX concepts through testing and iterative improvements.
• Contribute to the creation of user-centered design solutions that enhance product usability and engagement.

• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Human Factors, Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in UX research, user experience design, HMI design, or related disciplines.
• Experience conducting user-centered research in a professional or academic environment.
• Strong understanding of usability testing methodologies and user study execution.
• Experience with product benchmarking and competitive analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.

• Experience in automotive, infotainment, connected vehicle, or HMI environments.
• Hands-on experience with UX and prototyping tools such as Figma, Proto Pie, Axure, Kanzi, Unity, or similar platforms.
• Experience using user research and testing tools such as DScout.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX research, prototyping, and user-centered design projects.
• Knowledge of design thinking principles and modern UX methodologies.
