RN, Surgical Assistant, Operating Room Nurse

Surgical Nurse - Operating Room (OR) - 12 Hour Days

We are looking for an experienced Surgical Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room (OR). The ideal candidate will have experience across all areas of the OR and will be responsible for assisting with a variety of surgical procedures, excluding open-heart surgeries. This position will require cross-training in Endoscopy.

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour days, weekends as scheduled.

Assist in surgical procedures in various specialties including General, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, and Vascular.

Participate in call rotation, including one weeknight call every four weeks and one weekend shift call.

Utilize Baxter pumps and robotic systems, including DaVinci, when necessary.

Maintain up-to-date ACLS certification due to modern sedation practices.

Valid and unexpired driver's license (50-mile radius rule applies).

BLS certification required.

ACLS certification preferred.

Prior experience in the Operating Room.

Experience with robotic systems is a significant plus.
