Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

$1713.60/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week contractual assignment working 12-hour night shifts. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and efficient clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Perform IV starts, triage assessments, and manage acute patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly in compliance with protocols.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, including code blue and rapid response calls.
• Adhere to facility policies and maintain certification requirements throughout the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license recognized in the state.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, with 5+ years preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement, triage, and emergency protocols.
• Be certified in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and WV license; CPI, MAB, NRP, TNCC are preferred.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills.
• Must have recent travel nursing experience.
