Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

$1836.00/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled RN for a Medical Surgical unit to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care and health management.
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license active within the past 2 days of submittal.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Hold current BCLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner EMR system.
• Ability to work 3×12-hour day shifts, starting ASAP.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
