Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

$2203.20/week –

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical/Tele unit, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficient recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses in accordance with physician orders.
• Titrate drips such as Heparin, Insulin, Nitro, and other titratable medications as required.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors to assess cardiac status.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health management.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors, participating in patient assignments and maintaining unit workflows.
• Manage respiratory equipment, including CPAP and BiPAP, and coordinate respiratory treatments with RTs.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proven experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
• Ability to titrate drips and interpret telemetry strips.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Capable of managing respiratory equipment and treatments.
