This is a 13-week contract position.

4x12 Hour Day Shift from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, weekdays, every other weekend.

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The RN will assess patient needs, provide appropriate interventions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on urgency.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor vital signs and assess changes in patient conditions.
• Manage patients with diverse healthcare needs, including trauma, respiratory issues, and psychiatric emergencies.
• Document patient care in the Cerner Charting System.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience required; 5 years preferred.
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Preferred certifications: CPI, MAB, NRP, TNCC.
• Experience with IV start, triage, and other essential emergency department skills.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
