American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 2 trauma hospital, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and a WV or compact RN license.

• Acute care Operating Room setting within a Level 2 trauma facility
• 11 total rooms including 8 OR suites and 3 Endo suites, handling approximately 65 cases per day
• Experience in all areas of the OR required, with cross-training to Endo
• Cases include Vascular, General, Ortho, Neuro, Eyes, and ENT (excluding open hearts)
• Utilizes DaVinci Robot, Phillips and Dynamap equipment, and Baxter pumps
• EPIC EMR used for charting
• Schedule consists of 4x10-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Call rotation includes one weeknight call every 4 weeks (7p-7a) and one weekend call shift per 3-month contract

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience with DaVinci Robot strongly preferred
• Unexpired driver's license copy required for consideration

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
• No prescreen interview required for this OR position
• Work within a collaborative surgical team supporting a high-volume case load
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify as a traveler
• Travelers who previously worked at any WVU Medicine facility must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
