American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR experience across multiple surgical specialties and willingness to participate in call rotation.

• Acute care setting with Trauma Level 2 designation
• 11 total rooms including 8 OR suites and 3 Endo suites handling about 65 cases per day
• Cross-training to Endo required
• Handles all surgical case types except open hearts, including Vascular, General, Ortho, Neuro, Eyes, and ENT
• Utilizes Baxter pumps and robotic equipment including the DaVinci Robot, Phillips, and Dynomap
• EPIC EMR used
• Schedule consists of 4 10-hour days with weekend day shifts as needed
• Call rotation includes one weeknight call every 4 weeks (7p-7a) and one weekend shift call (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) up to 24 hours per 3-month contract

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience across all areas of the OR preferred
• DaVinci Robot experience considered a strong plus
• Unexpired driver's license copy required for consideration

• Perform circulating and scrub duties across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with no exceptions for local travelers
• Returning travelers must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying to any WVU Medicine location
• Travelers cannot work within WVU Medicine for longer than a year without taking a 2-year break; cumulative experience applies
• All candidates interview directly with the unit manager
• No prescreen interview required for this OR position
