We are currently seeking a Machinist for our Bridgeport, WV location.
PURPOSECompletes assignments involving the set-up and operation of a wide variety of machines including but not limited to lathes, saws, forklifts. Performs bore turn and basic machining tasks. Provides machining services of oilfield connections; cuts and re-cuts connections to specification.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Works from blueprints, rough sketches, production diagrams, drawings and verbal instructions to fabricate a variety of complex machined components.
- Fabricates and modifies tools and equipment.
- Measures, examines, and tests completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Cleans, lubricates, and maintains machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.
- Installs repaired parts into equipment and operates equipment to verify operational efficiency.
- Assists other machinists when necessary.
