We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician who shares our commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors through safe, well-maintained communities.## On-Call Requirement This position requires availability for on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.##

Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
* Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in apartments and common areas in a timely manner.
* Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance concerns.
* Maintain the safety, appearance, and overall condition of the community.
* Complete work orders and resident service requests efficiently and professionally.
* Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations.
* Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff and assist with training new team members.
* Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company standards.
* Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
* Keep accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and inventory logs.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and building codes.## Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance experience required.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
* Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Relevant certifications (HVAC, EPA, OSHA, etc.) are a plus.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.##

Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
* Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
