Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year

Job Description:

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Holy Angels II Senior Apartments. This on-site role requires a hands-on leader to manage maintenance staff and perform preventive and ongoing maintenance, including custodial care across CRSS properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee repairs and maintenance of HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment (5–10 ton residential and 10+ ton commercial units).
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues; change belts, identify leaks, and replace parts.
• Demonstrate expertise in automated building controls (e.g., Tracer/Trane).
• Maintain a charged cell phone for emergency response.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify repair and clean-up needs.
• Use work order systems and checklists to track inspections, materials, and labor.
• Supervise and escort outside contractors while on-site.
• Perform or oversee landscaping, snow removal, apartment turnovers, and building repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, fire panels, safety/security systems, elevators).
• Ensure compliance with building inspections (fire systems, sprinklers, elevator, REAC).
• Oversee housekeeping operations, inventory of materials, furniture, and equipment.
• Participate in the Quality Project program and on-call rotation for other CRSS buildings.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Property Director or facility leadership.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in skilled trades (plumbing, electrical); SNF experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of trade practices and building standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, follow instructions, and lead effectively.
• Universal EPA License for Refrigerant and HVAC Certification with 3+ years of experience.
