Counselor 10-Month
A Step Ahead Partial Care Hospitalization Program (PHP)- Bridgeton
Population:
Adolescents
Monday - Friday/Days
$20.00-$22.00 per hour PLUS full benefits

MUST have a bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
Experience with children in behavioral & mental health.
Provides for the direct care and management of patient population of a partial care treatment center.
Responsibilities:
* Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients.
* Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient's treatment plan.
* Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
* Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
* Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
* Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
* All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* BA in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
