Role Description

The Assistant Prosecutor will work full-time on-site in Bridgeton, NJ. Responsibilities include prosecuting criminal cases, conducting legal research, preparing court documents, providing legal advice to law enforcement agencies, and representing the county during court proceedings. Additional duties involve analyzing evidence, reviewing case files, and participating in the investigation of criminal matters while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and application of Law and Criminal Law.
  • Proficient in providing Legal Advice and understanding Criminal Justice systems and procedures.
  • Accounting knowledge beneficial for cases involving financial crimes or fraud.
  • J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school and NJ bar admission to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage a range of cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to justice, fairness, and ethical responsibility in legal proceedings.
