Executive Director​/Chief Financial Officer

Overview

The Cumberland County Utilities Authority is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer. The Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer is an essential member of the CCUA's leadership team and is responsible for leading a team of professionals delivering quality, professional utilities services to the public. The CCUA is known for providing outstanding services to the community and citizens of Cumberland County.

The CCUA is currently accepting resumes from highly professional, innovative, and self-motivated candidates for its Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer position.

• Coordinate with professional consultants; work with contract documents; project management; tracking of regulatory compliance requirements; and various other projects.
• Oversee and manage on a day-to-day basis the operations, finances, and other assets of the Authority.
• Implement and execute organizational policies, operational goals and strategic vision as enacted by the Board, as well as related duties, assignments, tasks, and projects as may be assigned by the Board.

• Strong understanding and experience in the processes and equipment involved in the conveying and treatment of wastewater as well as sludge handling and disposal.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of substantial experience with the operation and management of comparable wastewater facilities, with a minimum of five (5) years of executive-level supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance management is required.
• CMFO license designation and a Certified Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA) are highly desirable.
