Realty Project Coach

Overview

As a Realty Project Coach, you will join the Realty Execution team for Walmart US. You will take ownership in delivering store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US. Your responsibility will be to ensure projects are done on time, within budget, and meet our quality standards. In this role, you'll partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep everything on track.

You may travel to projects across the US.

• Influencing Others:
  Motivate your team to meet timelines and deliverables; encourage collaboration among associates and address concerns with store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
• Project Ownership:
  Own the execution of projects in assigned stores; communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders; minimize impact on store operations.
• Develop Associates:
  Provide supervision and development opportunities; listen, act on ideas and concerns; evaluate talent, train and mentor, provide recognition, and identify career paths.

• Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
• Experience with leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams.

• Shift: Primarily overnight; night shifts average 10 to 12 hours.
• Travel:
  Frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home is a role requirement. Expect to be away from home ~80% of the time, or 17–21 days at a time. Travel areas based on project workload; associate will be based out of a home store and may travel to surrounding states or farther. Mileage reimbursed; overnight stays paid for RPC roles.
• Salary: $60,000 – $110,000 annually.

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years of experience in the same.

• Master’s degree in Business or related field.
• 1 year of experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Project Management - Management Professional Certification.

• Have reliable transportation.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports mission, values, and ethics by implementing related action plans; utilizing Open-Door Policy; and guiding on applying these in business processes.
• Support implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; carrying out necessary processes; monitoring progress and results; recognizing opportunities for improvement; and adapting to demands and changes.

Walmart notices. The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 – $. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and other compensation for certain roles.
