Role Description
The Production Scheduler is responsible for all functions of purchasing and scheduling related to packaging materials and dunnage including requisitions, purchase orders, inventory routines, scheduling, and returns.
Responsibilities- Create production schedule and coordinate planned production between operations, warehouse, and sales teams
- Maintain packaging material inventories, including dunnage and recyclables, to deliver planned production
- Assist storeroom department with the ordering of inventory and non-inventory parts, working with departments to meet budget and costs, while meeting component specifications
- Collaborate with the procurement team in vendor selection, price negotiation, and product selection as needed
- Comply with environmental and food safety standards as outlined in plant policies within the department
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel up to 5%
- Associate's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
- Prior experience with SAP
- Prior experience with food safety
- Two (2) years in a leadership role
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Prior experience working with lean manufacturing, kaizens, and 5S
The base annual salary range for this role is between $68,200.00 and $ per year. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. This role is eligible to participate in the annual Ardagh Incentive Bonus (AIB) plan, based on total company performance.
