, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support daily security-related operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing access control points, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, process visitors and contractors, and help deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, document observations, and communicate with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity or conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Support badge and key control procedures, maintain accurate access logs, and report equipment issues or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
