Warehouse Lumper

Open-ended contract (6 months+)
Pay: $16/hr
Overview
We're looking for a reliable Warehouse Lumper to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, organizing pallets, and helping maintain an efficient dock operation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight, materials, and pallets from trailers or containers.
- Re-stack, wrap, and organize products as needed to prepare for storage or shipment.
- Verify shipment counts, product quality, and accuracy against documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on the dock.
- Follow safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques.
- Communicate with warehouse leads, drivers, and supervisors to ensure smooth dock operations.
- Previous warehouse or loading/unloading experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dock environment (may include temperature variations).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and commitment to safety.
