Senior Accountant; Onsite

About the Role

Our client, a well-established company, is seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong foundation in public accounting and experience serving manufacturing clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a flexible hybrid schedule but still values in-person collaboration twice a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead monthly close activities related to inventory, COGS, and manufacturing operations.
• Support and enhance cost accounting processes and controls.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to ensure accurate inventory metrics and financial impact.
• Support cost accounting activities, inventory accounting, and standard cost updates.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Grow into a Manager-level role
  , taking on direct reports and expanded responsibilities as the company continues scaling.
• Develop and improve accounting processes and controls.
• Partner with operations and leadership to provide financial insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience
  , preferably from a mid-sized or Big 4 firm.
• Required: Prior experience working with manufacturing/wholesale clients (industry audit or advisory).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems; manufacturing ERP exposure is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
