SA metal protective packaging manufacturer in Bridgeview is seeking aLineHelper for their team.
SHIFT:
Monday-Friday, 11am-11pm. Sometimes a shortly Friday, you will need to be flexible.
- Assists in the removal of coils from a rewinder reel using coil carriers, transports coils from the rewinders to a conveyor system.
- Visually inspects coils for obvious defects or markings, not consistent with our quality objectives.
- Transfer spools containing slit steel strapping to welding position.
- Spot weld individual straps at appropriate time interval.
- Assist in correcting production delays and product size changeovers.
- Moving about 1400 coils per day
- prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work in a loud environment
- Must pass BACKGROUND & DRUG TEST
