Location: LunenburgWe are currently seeking a Journeyman Millwright to join our Lunenburg Operations. The Millwright will possess the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic maintenance team in a progressive work environment. This is a unionized position located at our plant in Lunenburg, NS. The successful candidate will be assigned to an available shift by seniority following completion of in-house training.

Primary Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for general repair and maintenance of equipment and machineryCompletion of preventative maintenance tasksGeneral mechanical work in a production environmentAbility to work with hand and powered toolsOther projects/duties as requiredQualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman Millwright certification.Maintain a clean and safe work area while contributing to overall plant safety and cleanlinessInspecting and monitoring machinery and equipment for pinch points and safety hazards; installing safety devices as requiredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionCapable of following instruction manuals and troubleshootingExcellent communication, team and people skillsSelf-motivated with a high degree of initiative and flexibilityThe ability to provide excellent customer service in a demanding production environmentCandidates must be capable of working rotating shifts.Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $38.42 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shiftWeekends as neededSupplemental pay types:
