Vaco has a client near Bridgewater NJ looking for a Family Office Accountant to work onsite and be responsible for the accounting related to the owner's personal finances, trusts and investments, as well as some real estate holdings.
Quick Books is required.
Responsibilities include:- invoice processing, cash receipt recording, bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting for trusts, foundations, and investments
- posting journal entries
- processing year end 1099s
- recording expenses, receipts, distributions, payroll funding and other transactions accurately and on time.
- trial balance generation and review
- provide financial reports
- act as the liaison in regards to tax returns
- Bachelors' degree in accounting
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting in a family office or small business environment
- Experience with accounting for Trusts and Foundations
- Quick Books experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Target salary - $100-105k
