Claim Service Assistants are an advocate for our customers. They work in a fast paced environment, providing exceptional customer service as well as working directly with the Glass Claim team. They talk directly with people who have recently experienced a glass loss and help them through the claim process. In addition, this individual will provide support to the Claim department. New to insurance?

All you need is great customer service and communication skills – we’ll train you on the rest!

Responsibilities
  • Handle telephone calls using good customer service skills.
  • Manage walk‑ins/public assistance.
  • Assist with Surcharge Docket Administration and Total Loss Administration.
  • Aid the Glass Department in glass claim facts, determining coverage, and accurately establishing and resolving each claim.
  • Open incoming mail and prepare batches for scanning into an electronic system and then index to correct claim.
  • Order and stock supplies for the office at request.
  • File any special handling documents or media materials as required.
  • Establish claims in an electronic system utilizing various sources in the computer system to obtain required information; and, assign appraisal according to established guidelines.
  • Produce a variety of reports, spreadsheets, and/or email for daily and monthly data.
  • Perform other related work as requested or required.
Qualifications
  • A true commitment to customer service excellence through positive, effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound MS Office skills and able to work in an organized manner.
  • Highly effective time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and impeccable organization.
  • A passion for helping others.

Salary:
Approximately $47,000 - $49,000 per year.
