Department Summary
:

The mission of the Art Department at Bridgewater State University is to engage students in the exploration of their individual creative and art historical interests. Our faculty strives to create an environment in which students can investigate a full range of creative expressions in the studio and classroom and where diverse interests in art production and art history can thrive.

Position Summary
:

Experienced Life Models needed for upper level drawing and figure painting classes. Model will be required to pose both nude and in costume. Sessions typically run for 2.5 hours, but occasionally back-to-back sessions may be required.

Responsibilities
:

• Pose in both nude and in costume.
• Attend sessions typically lasting 2.5 hours, with occasional back-to-back sessions.
• Be able to sit or stand for a minimum of 60 minutes at a time.

Required Qualifications
:

• Willingness to model nude.
• Willingness to sit or stand for a minimum of 1 hour at a time.

Preferred Qualifications
:

• Prior modeling experience in an academic setting.
