Candidates must:
* demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of students from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of abilities.
* Utilize an equity- minded framework to prepare lesson plans that incorporate varied instructional techniques, multi-media, integration strategies designed to meet the educational, culturally relevant, and emotional needs of our students.
* Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning. Encourage student success to all students regardless of race.
Specific course offerings include:
* Teaching up to 11 credits per semester in both/either the BSW and MSW programs as assigned by the School of Social Work chairperson.
