Men's Locker Room Assistant

Become part of this elite group of male Bridgewater State University students to assist with the daily activities of the Men's Locker Room "Blue Crew" such as: assist children with disabilities with ambulatory need, changing of swim gear, and other duties as assigned. Eligibility requirements:
Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester. Must be able to work Saturday morning from 8:30am to 11:30pm (8 Saturdays each semester).

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with children, especially in athletic, recreational, educational, or camp settings; experience supporting children with physical, developmental, intellectual, sensory, or behavioral disabilities; knowledge of inclusive recreation practices; understanding of common disabilities and how they may affect communication, mobility, behavior, or safety; ability to communicate effectively with children using different communication styles and abilities; patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, therapists, teachers, and other staff.

Hourly rate: $18.00 per hour.
