We are seeking part‑time, non‑benefitted faculty for the Saturday MSW (Master of Social Work) program. Classes are held on Saturdays between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm and the program is hybrid; presence on campus is not required every Saturday.

Position Information

• Title: Part‑Time Faculty, School of Social Work
  - Saturday MSW Program
• Rank: Adjunct Instructor
• Salary: $4,005.00 for a typical 3‑credit lecture course (paid bi‑weekly via direct deposit). Rates may vary for other course types.
• Course load: Up to 11 credits per semester as assigned.
• Program description: Students attend Saturday classes; the program is hybrid; internships take place during weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in the Saturday MSW program, collaborating with full‑time faculty and field staff.
• Develop lesson plans that incorporate varied instructional techniques, multimedia, and integration strategies to meet the educational, culturally relevant, and emotional needs of a racially and ethnically diverse student body.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to effective learning and encourage student success for all students.
• Support the department’s mission of serving a diverse campus community.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or a related field.
• At least two years of post‑MSW experience.
• Ability to use technology effectively in both online and in‑person teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

• MSW degree and LICSW.
• Teaching experience in a BSW or MSW program.
