Position InformationTitle: Half (.5) Graduate Assistant

Hourly Rate: $15
Position DescriptionThe Half Graduate Assistant (.5 GA) will work 10 hours per week and receive up to 15 credits of tuition and student fee waivers: 6 for fall, 6 for spring and 3 for summer.
Description of DutiesThe Graduate Assistant for the Department of Counselor Education will work 10 hours per week supporting all department faculty members with ongoing program evaluation and necessary investigations that will provide data sets that support the faculty in making program decisions. This support includes:
- Conducting literature reviews
- Analyzing and interpreting data
- Assisting with the planning and execution of the department’s annual conference
- Supporting the department in maintaining compliance with CACREP accreditation standards
- Contributing to additional projects deemed appropriate by the department
- Matriculated into a counselor education program
- Organized
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of SPSS and Nvivo statistical analysis platforms
- Able to work independently with initial direction from faculty members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Basic familiarity with digital communication tools such as Canva and social media platforms, and interest in developing skills in creating promotional materials, managing social media content, and contributing to event planning and program design
Physical demands for this position are minimal and do not require strenuous activity.
