This posting is for potential part-time, non-benefited, day program faculty positions in the School of Social Work. The current salary rate for a typical 3 credit lecture course taught by a new part-time faculty member in the day program is $4,005.00, paid through bi-weekly payroll direct deposit. Rates may vary for other course types based on contact hour equivalencies.

The School of Social Work has both a thriving BSW and MSW program. Current total enrollment is approximately 550. Our programs are staffed by 16 full time faculty, more than 15 part time faculty, three field education specialists and two administrators. Our programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

- Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of students from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of abilities.

- Teaching up to 11 credits per semester in both/either the BSW and MSW programs as assigned by the School of Social Work chairperson.
1. A master’s degree in social work or a related field.
2. At least 2 years post-MSW experience.
3. Ability to use technology effectively in online and in-person teaching, and learning designed to meet the educational, culturally relevant, and emotional needs of our students.
Preferred Qualifications1. MSW degree and LICSW.
2. Teaching experience in a BSW or MSW program.
