Repligen is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern who has completed their second year of an accredited ME (or related) program and enjoys both CAD and hands‑on engineering. You’ll support new product work through 3D modeling/detail drawings, concept development, and product testing. You’ll collaborate directly with senior engineers and contribute to meaningful project deliverables in an active development environment. - CAD & Design Support – Create and revise 3D CAD models and detail drawings for components/sub‑assemblies; support design iterations based on feedback and test results.
- Testing & Analysis Support – Support product testing by defining test approach, setting up experiments, collecting data, summarizing findings, and designing/building simple test fixtures to enable repeatable testing and reliability checks.
- Documentation & Collaboration – Prepare engineering documentation (drawings, assembly notes, test plans, and test reports) with attention to clarity and traceability, and participate in project team meetings to communicate status, learnings, and next steps.
- Completed 2nd year of a B.S. program in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Hands‑on experience with CAD (Solid Works/AutoCAD or equivalent through coursework/projects).
- Interest in experimentation, troubleshooting, and practical problem‑solving.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to document work clearly.
- Ability to work effectively on a team and communicate progress.
- Test planning and presenting test results preferred.
- Comfortable in a hands‑on lab/prototype environment preferred.
- Estimated hourly rate for this role, based in the United States of America: $24/Hr – $25/Hr (subject to qualifications, location, internal equity, and market data).
- Employees are eligible to participate in variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
