Position Overview

We are hiring for a Junior Structural Engineer at a leading engineering firm that delivers innovative and sustainable design solutions in the manufacturing industry. This permanent role involves overseeing the structural engineering aspects of projects from conceptual design through construction, ensuring safety, compliance, and integrity.

Compensation

Salary range: $105,000 - $130,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing and developing structural systems, ensuring compliance with national design codes, AISC, ASCE, and welding standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to devise innovative solutions to complex structural problems.
  • Conduct structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and other materials using relevant design software.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, and circuit diagrams.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and solutions.
  • Ensure all designs and projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Work closely with construction teams to ensure correct implementation and resolve issues.
  • Continuously update skills and stay current with industry trends and developments.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
    • Proficient knowledge of national design codes, AISC, ASCE, and welding standards.
    • Excellent problem‑solving and creative thinking skills.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Proficient use of structural design software.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Proven record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
