Manager, Workday Compensation & Talent (HR Operations & Compliance) — Bridgewater, NJRole Overview
Functional owner and subject matter expert for Workday Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Talent. Ensures Workday supports compensation programs, talent processes, and the employee/manager experience through configuration, enhancements, testing, releases, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Own and optimize Workday Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, and Talent modules and related business processes.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions; partner with Compensation, Talent, HR, and HRIS.
- Configure and support compensation plans/cycles (merit, bonus, promotions, adjustments, incentives, eligibility, guidelines).
- Configure and support Performance Management and Talent processes (goal setting, reviews, calibration, succession, development).
- Provide functional expertise on Workday processes, configuration, security, and system design.
- Manage biannual Workday releases (impact assessment, regression testing, stakeholder coordination, adoption).
- Establish configuration/testing/documentation/deployment/control standards for integrity and audit readiness.
- Troubleshoot complex issues; standardize/simplify/automate Workday for improved employee/manager experience.
- Decide on configuration/design choices and evaluate new Compensation/Talent functionality.
- Prioritize enhancements aligned to compensation cycles, talent processes, and HRIS governance.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years HRIS/HR technology; 3+ years hands‑on Workday Compensation & Talent configuration.
- Strong functional knowledge of Workday Core/Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, and Talent.
- Experience managing Workday release cycles (impact, testing, adoption).
- Advanced Workday configuration (including business processes, condition rules, calculated fields) and strong Workday security/domain access.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills;
English.

- Base pay range: $110,706–$145,303. Performance-based bonus and/or equity may be available.
