As part of our growth journey, Persistent Systems is looking for an experienced sales leader to join our Integrated Software Vendors (ISV), High Tech and emerging business to lead our large deals initiative. The role will require working closely with leaders of our industry verticals, services lines and working with one of our largest customers to aggressively pursue large deals
Roles and Responsibilities- Identify and sell to the decision makers including C-Level executives, across both IT and LOBs in enterprises in both new and existing accounts
- Consultatively identify requirements and propose solutions to customers
- Create and deliver client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiation
- Consultative customer solution selling that could include service and software
- Building and managing a strong Sales Pipeline
- Anchor client meetings and creatively pursue any opportunities generated
- Partner with sales and channel organizations of software vendor(s) / Persistent Systems partners driving joint demand generation and jointly closing license and services revenue.
- Passionate about the innovation economy, love to dabble in new age technologies and excited about the future and how that technology can enhance client outcomes – Product Engineering, Cloud, Mobility, Data, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Martech.
- Have Demonstrable experience of selling product engineering services and solutions to Software ISV industry, software Startups, Born in Cloud companies and Unicorns
- Have a successful track record of opening new logos, manage and grow existing customers in ISV, High Tech and emerging industry.
- Strong domain knowledge and focus on across ISV, High Tech and emerging industry.
- Have a good understanding of how software/technology in transforming industries and how “Software 4.0” companies like Persistent can help clients shape their future
- You are a big thinker and able to formulate solutions
- You have a proven track record of selling $10M+ ACV services deals.
- Have a successful track record of delivering $100M+ in TCV annually on a consistent basis
- Able to communicate with and build relationships with senior client stakeholders (CXO, CXO-1, CXO-2 and CXO-3 levels)
- Able to work effectively with globally distributed teams
