Senior AV Infrastructure Engineer & Executive Support Specialist @ Onsite

We are seeking a senior, highly technical Audio Video (AV) Engineer to provide enterprise-level system design, infrastructure administration, and "white-glove" technical support for our executive leadership team. This role bridges advanced AV/UC engineering with elite, high-touch service desk support. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Polycom environments, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and backend network configurations, paired with the professional presence required to interface directly with C-suite executives.

• Executive White-Glove Support: Provide dedicated, high-touch technical support for C-suite executives, board meetings, and high-profile corporate events, ensuring flawless execution with zero downtime.
• Polycom & UC Engineering: Drive the deployment, provisioning, configuration, and firmware management of Polycom (Poly) endpoints, group series, and trio systems integrated with modern UC platforms.
• AV Infrastructure Design & Administration: Design, install, and optimize complex AV architectures, including video conferencing, digital signage, and advanced presentation matrices.
• Advanced Service Desk Escalation: Serve as the tier-1,2 & 3 technical escalation point for the IT Service Desk, resolving complex, high-impact incidents spanning hardware, software, and integration layers.
• Network & Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot AV-over-IP issues, optimizing network bandwidth, VLAN segmentation, and Quality of Service (QoS) parameters for real-time audio/video streams.
• Vendor & Lifecycle Management: Coordinate with global AV vendors and internal network security teams to manage deployments, hardware life cycles, and system documentation.

• Experience: 5+ years of enterprise AV engineering experience, with a proven track record in dedicated executive support or elite service desk environments.
• Polycom Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of Polycom hardware, software, provisioning parameters, and backend management tools.
• Platform Integration: Advanced proficiency engineering and supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex infrastructure.
• Hardware & Control Systems: Strong configuration experience with enterprise AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX) and hardware signal routing (biamp DSPs, matrices, advanced mic arrays).
• Networking Foundations: Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN tagging, and QoS optimization for voice and video.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the poise required to assist executives under high-pressure timelines.

• Certifications: AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certifications.
• Microsoft Teams Rooms or Polycom technical certifications.
• Experience operating within ITIL-aligned corporate environments.
