Graduate Assistant (GA)
The Computer Science Department Graduate Assistant will support the department in teaching, curriculum design, and program evaluation.
DutiesThe GA will support the computer science program in the following ways:
- Assist with the technology setup and instructional needs for COMP-152, CYBF-210, COMP-250 and other introductory courses.
- Investigate and support robots and other electronic equipment used by the department.
- Help with department computer lab maintenance.
- Help with software support.
- Create specialized application software for the computer science department needs.
- Assist the department with preparing hands‑on labs.
- Investigate and demonstrate new technology for the department.
- Experience working with robots, electronic equipment, and supporting computing labs.
- Experience working with Git.
- Experience working with Linux.

CompensationHourly Rate: $15
Graduate assistantships are available for 20 hours per week, and candidates may receive up to 24 credits of tuition and student fee waivers: 9 credits in fall, 9 credits in spring, and 6 credits in summer.
