Job Details

We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry, seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent Mechanical Designer. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in an environment that values creativity, efficiency, and quality.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls using CAD software.

Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.

Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and procedures and instructions to be followed.

Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.

Design and execute complex 3D models for manufacturing and assembly.

Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production.

Ensure all designs meet legal guidelines and safety requirements.

Work with welding related to structural steel and pressure vessels.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in 3D modeling software.

Extensive knowledge of welding related to structural steel and pressure vessels.

Excellent technical drawing skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
