About The Role
Director, Product Communications responsible for communications for a leading product and to lead Insmed’s Patient Voices Program, with primary focus on preparing for and executing a significant new indication launch.
Responsibilities- Serve as strategic communications partner for the brand; provide trusted communications counsel.
- Develop and execute comprehensive new indication launch communications: pre-launch market prep, launch day activation, and post-launch momentum.
- Champion and evolve the Patient Voices Program; steward patient identification and storytelling.
- Plan and execute communications for clinical milestones: data readouts, regulatory submissions, and approvals; ensure clear, credible, compliant dissemination.
- Drive disease state awareness initiatives for patient and HCP communities.
- Coordinate consistent messaging with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Patient Advocacy, Investor Relations, and Corporate Communications/Brand-Digital.
- Partner with Corporate Communications and leadership for executive/internal communications around key milestones.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years progressive experience in brand/product communications.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech experience required; rare disease experience highly preferred; agency + in-house preferred.
- Expertise in patient storytelling, including identifying/developing/managing patient spokespeople and partnerships.
- Proven product launch communications experience (pre-launch/launch/post-launch).
- Strong data communications experience for clinical data, regulatory milestones, and scientific publications.
- Knowledge of disease awareness campaign development.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical regulations/compliance (FDA promotional guidelines, fair balance).
- Experience engaging healthcare media; strong executive presence.
- Exceptional writing/storytelling/presentation skills.
- Proficiency with AI-powered platforms/analytics; integrate AI while maintaining compliance.
Travel:
Occasional domestic travel ~10%.
Work:
Hybrid (Bridgewater, NJ HQ); remote most of the time.
Pay Range: $– annual.
