Quality Specialist

Overview

Our client, a leading organization in the food industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Specialist, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting food safety initiatives and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Specialist

Location: Bridgewater, NJ / HYBRID

Pay Range: $30/hr - $32/hr

• Work on raw material specifications focusing on microbiology and chemical contaminants.
• Perform Food Safety Assessments and develop pHACCP and rMMS for new products and technologies.
• Support factory implementation of quality and safety standards through training and technical assistance.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé Standards and Regulatory requirements through audits and verification.
• Assist in preparation for ISO and NMS certifications, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Food Microbiology and toxicology.
• Experience in food industry quality, R&D, or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to support business requirements in a team setting.
• Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 9001, and FSSC 22000 standards is preferred.
