Commercial Director, Healthful Solutions
The Commercial Director will drive the commercial execution of the Texture & Healthful Solutions US/CAN strategy, maximising profitability and driving sales revenue through deep, strategic customer relationships and leading a diverse sales team.
Responsibilities- Lead the geography team to meet or exceed company targets for sales volumes, revenue, and profitability, including growth targets for new and existing specialty products.
- Develop and execute the annual sales plan for the region team in support of the overall US/Canada Healthful sales strategy.
- Lead and develop a team of sales professionals, attracting talent, building future commercial leaders, and embedding Ingredion’s culture, values, and compliance principles.
- Achieve higher market penetration for Healthful Solutions products across all US/CAN sales channels.
- Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline, driving high opportunity sales conversion rates.
- Ensure the team consistently uses for pipeline development, account planning, opportunity development, customer experience, and visibility.
- Drive the T&HS Sales Excellence program.
- Nurture long‑term relationships with key strategic customers.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with supply chain, product line management, innovation, quality, sustainability, and other go‑to‑market teams to break barriers to execution.
- Bachelor’s‑prepared commercial leader with a degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field, and 15+ years progressive sales experience in the food ingredients sector.
- Recognised by major food and beverage customers for consistently delivering strong, year‑over‑year growth.
- Proven people leader with strong managerial capabilities, having developed, coached, and empowered high‑performing sales teams; 5+ years of direct sales leadership experience required.
- Respected industry partner with established credibility and trusted relationships across key customer accounts.
- Strategic, growth‑oriented operator who excels in driving commercial performance, shaping customer strategy, and influencing cross‑functional outcomes.
- Travel‑ready leader willing to travel 25%–40% to support customers, teams, and business priorities.

Pay Range: $–$ (annual). Incentive Compensation may include the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or role‑specific commission/bonus. Full‑time roles are eligible for medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, and other comprehensive benefits.
