The Opportunity

The Communications and Engagement Lead (CEL) is responsible for partnering with the assigned sales team to drive growth of Met Life’s voluntary and core benefits product portfolio for the Regional business. The CEL will serve as a benefits and enrollment expert, providing dedicated strategic guidance while maintaining existing client relationships. The CEL will partner with various organizations, including Product COE, Distribution Development, and Marketing to provide day‑to‑day support of Met Life’s products to sales partners.

The CEL will lead account planning efforts; and deliver training to sales partners. The CEL will serve as secondary support for strategic broker, prospect, and customer meetings to drive sales results, while building and maintaining strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic partnerships with sales teams to drive revenue growth and enhance broker and client engagement.
  • Create tailored enrollment and communication strategies aligned to customer, broker, and business needs.
  • Oversee implementation and enrollment execution to ensure alignment with timelines, quality standards, and expected outcomes.
  • Manage ongoing performance by monitoring participation, pipeline activity, and case results to ensure consistent success.
  • Develop sales partner capabilities through training, coaching, and guidance on products, enrollment strategies, and market positioning.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional resources, enrollment logistics, and platform solutions to support effective and seamless delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in product, sales, marketing, or wholesaling in insurance industry (internal, external or combination)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of experience and education
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Thorough knowledge of and proven ability to demonstrate sales and marketing principles and practices

  • Demonstrate strong product expertise and the ability to work independently with clear, concise communication.
  • Apply a results‑driven, strategic, and data‑informed approach, leveraging critical thinking, consultative skills, and a strong customer and broker focus.
  • Build and influence strong relationships while driving outcomes through collaboration and effectively guiding others to achieve results.
Location Expectation

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short‑term incentive compensation and stock‑based long‑term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
