Regional Sales Manager – New York City

Must reside in the greater NYC/NJ/Long Island vicinity.

• Plan and implement locally relevant sales and distribution strategies to drive growth and market share.
• Develop and maintain credibility and long‑term relationships with customers and the A&D community in the region to build a strong pipeline and meet sales objectives.
• Partner with agents, reps, and dealers to conduct joint calls with specifiers.
• Achieve revenue, margin, and sales productivity efficiency targets within the assigned geographical area.
• Maximize sales opportunities by creating demand through Modular named specifications.
• Train agents, reps, and dealers on the MLI brand, products, and sales tools.

• 5+ years of commercial sales experience across a multi‑state territory.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in key account management and consultative selling in a fast‑paced technology or architectural industry.
• Technical understanding of lighting requirements, LEDs, and lighting controls.
• Proven track record in building relationships with designers, reps, EDs, and builders.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs.

• Salary: $121,000 – $177,000 based on experience.
• Bonus: target bonus opportunity of 35%.
