Position Information
Title — Bridgewater State University Plumber & Steamfitter I
Location — Campus wide
Tour of Duty :
Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.;
DAYS OFF :
Sunday and Monday (subject to change)
Type — This is a full-time, 12 month, AFSCME unit position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement.
Position SummaryThis opportunity creates a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors by performing general plumbing and steam fitting work. The Plumber & Steamfitter I role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, high pressure steam pipes and fittings, related steam operated equipment, condensate pumps, boilers, steam heat auxiliary equipment, including both supply and drain piping and related fixtures, and related control and metering equipment.
Your contributions in this role will help create, maintain, and manage a physical environment that enhances teaching, learning, living and working for our diverse Bridgewater State University community.
