Title: Work Study Event Operations Crew

Department: University Events (UE)

The Event Operations Crew will provide services for the Event Operations Setup and Technical Services Unit. They will be responsible for physically setting up equipment needs for all on campus events. While working in small teams, you will take visual diagrams to accurately set up both furniture and technology needs for events on campus.

The person who assumes this position will work throughout the BSU campus and will develop several skills such as teamwork, communication and independence as they may work under limited supervision.

• Setup furniture and technology needs for events
• Follow specific details of diagrams
• Work in a team environment
• Follow a schedule in a timely manner
• Train new student employees
• Assist customers with technology needs
• Troubleshoot technology issues
• Test equipment before events
• Other duties as assigned

• A reliable and responsible person who can work independently
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• A professional and positive attitude
• Familiarity with the BSU campus
• Technical and Operational Proficiency

Able to lift and maneuver up to 45lbs.
