About the Role
We're looking for a senior SAP ABAP and Fiori professional to step into a lead technical role on an active S/4
HANA landscape. This isn't a maintenance seat — the person in this role will immediately stabilize day-to-day operations, take ownership of critical integrations, and help drive modernization work on SAP BTP and Fiori. Strong candidates will have both deep hands-on ABAP skill and the judgment to lead technical initiatives independently.
Senior SAP ABAP & Fiori Lead (Contract)

We're looking for a senior SAP ABAP and Fiori professional to step into a lead technical role on an active S/4
HANA landscape. This isn't a maintenance seat — the person in this role will immediately stabilize day-to-day operations, take ownership of critical integrations, and help drive modernization work on SAP BTP and Fiori. Strong candidates will have both deep hands-on ABAP skill and the judgment to lead technical initiatives independently.
- Stabilize the current SAP landscape and manage daily operations while leading S/4
HANA project work on SAP BTP and Fiori
- Own Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) management and support enhancements for the Esker AP Automation integration
- Provide technical support for an ongoing SAP upgrade, including code remediation and analysis using ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and PRIME+
- Partner with the Application Managed Services (AMS) team to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production issues across S/4
HANA and ECC platforms
- Strong hands-on ABAP development:
Object-Oriented (OO) ABAP, BAPIs, RFCs, modern ABAP syntax, and custom enhancements in an S/4
HANA environment
- Proven integration experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData services, and SAP Web Services/API calls
- Experience extending standard SAP functionality through BAdIs, workflows, CDS views, and AMDP
- Familiarity with SOA-based integration and support models
- Experience using ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) to enforce coding standards and support upgrade readiness
- Exposure to Embedded Steampunk (Developer Extensibility) and working with C1 contract objects
- Hands-on experience building applications with the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
- Solid understanding of how the ABAP backend serves data to Fiori Launchpad and Fiori Elements
- Experience building CDS views with UI annotations to support OData services for Fiori
