Office Administrator
Our client in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a professional, organized, and personable Part-Time Office Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of their office and provide administrative support to executive leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional environment, is highly organized, and can confidently interact with executives, visitors, and business partners.
Schedule:
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (approximately 4–5 hours per day)
- Thursdays as needed
Pay Rate:
- $25 / hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the Bridgewater office to ensure it runs efficiently.
- Welcome and assist visitors, including executives, customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Maintain office supplies, snacks, beverages, and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate catering for meetings and office events.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
- Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and provide administrative support to leadership.
- Prepare and assist with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, reports, and other business documents.
- Process expense reports and assist with travel arrangements when needed.
- Organize company events, trade show registrations, and visitor logistics.
- Maintain office records and filing systems (electronic and paper).
- Assist with onboarding activities for new employees.
- Identify opportunities to improve office processes and efficiency.
- Perform general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent administrative experience.
- Previous office administration, executive support, or administrative assistant experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with executive leadership, including the CEO and senior management.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the office as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Occasional local travel for office-related errands or meetings may be required.
