Quality Engineer

Job Description:

+ Review and triage daily quality issues from manufacturing and field installations

+ Lead daily cross-functional meetings to prioritize critical issues

+ Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured methodologies (RCCA, 8D)

+ Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams to resolve defects and systemic issues

+ Lead and support PFMEA development and execution

+ Represent Quality in engineering changes, product development, and continuous improvement initiatives

+ Ensure quality standards are integrated into design and process changes

+ Coordinate cross-functional teams, including meeting facilitation, action tracking, and escalation

+ Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

+ Support a fast-paced, high-volume production and installation environment

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

+ 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience, or at least 3+ years with a Master's degree.

+ Proven experience leading, not just supporting, RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) investigations and 8D problem-solving efforts.

+ Experience working in either semiconductor, automotive, or aerospace & defense industries

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $88000.00 - $113500.00/yr.
