Interim FP&A Manager
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to support Supply Chain Finance across a multi-site pharmaceutical manufacturing network. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for consolidated financial oversight of manufacturing sites, focusing on gross margin, COGS, and operational finance performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee consolidated financial performance across four manufacturing sites, providing visibility into cost drivers and profitability
- Partner with supply chain and operations leadership to analyze and improve gross margin and COGS performance
- Support monthly close activities related to inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing variances
- Analyze and report on:
- Standard vs. actual costs
- Manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead)
- Inventory reserves and obsolescence
- Support forecasting and budgeting for supply chain and manufacturing operations
- Identify and drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives
- Ensure compliance with SOX/internal controls and company policies
- Develop dashboards and reporting to enhance visibility into supply chain financial performance
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, procurement, and plant finance teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in finance/accounting within pharma or manufacturing environments
- Strong background in supply chain finance, plant finance, or cost accounting
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
- Deep understanding of:
- COGS and gross margin drivers
- Inventory accounting and standard costing
- Manufacturing variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly add value
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $45-$50/hr competitive hourly or project-based rate Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
