Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will provide essential technical support to ensure seamless operation of computer systems, mobile devices, and related technologies. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach to addressing technical issues.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktop computers and mobile devices.

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop workstations, including Windows 10 systems.

- Provide support for Active Directory administration and related user access requests.

- Ensure proper imaging and deployment of desktop hardware across the organization.

- Assist with the installation and maintenance of office automation tools and software.

- Deliver remote and in-person technical assistance to employees as needed.

- Document technical issues and solutions in detail for future reference.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex system problems.

- Conduct routine system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.

- Educate users on best practices for utilizing technology efficiently. Requirements - Proven experience in a help desk or customer support role within IT.

- Solid knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Windows 10.

- Familiarity with Active Directory and desktop imaging processes.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical problems effectively.

- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
