Apprentice General Maintenance Worker

Our client, a leading organization in the corporate services sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a General Maintenance Worker, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting the upkeep and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $26-$27

** Shift:
** 8 hours per shift, starting at 7:30 am and ending at 4:00 pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, buildings, and systems

+ Paint, repair flooring, and support plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

+ Respond to emergency situations and support necessary tasks during emergencies

+ Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment

+ Support various maintenance projects as needed to ensure operational efficiency

** What's Needed?*
* + Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is a plus

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

+ Good communication skills and a proactive approach

+ Willingness to support emergency tasks when required
