Hours:

Mon-Thurs, (07:00-15:30) Fri, (07:00-12:30). Salary: up to £25,500 Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? If you enjoy practical work, problem-solving, and being part of a close-knit team, and you don't mind rolling your sleeves up. This could be the opportunity you've been looking for! We're looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Support team member to join our site in Crewkerne, supporting the day-to-day running, safety, and upkeep of our facilities.

This is a varied, active role that suits someone who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and wants to be part of a supportive, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities Supporting reactive and planned maintenance across the site Carrying out general building repairs (painting, basic carpentry, tiling) and outdoor work such as landscaping and lighting Managing oils, coolants, swarf, recycling, and waste streams safely and responsibly Assisting maintenance engineers with installations, repairs, and breakdowns Maintaining high standards of 5S, safety, and site cleanliness Using digital systems to log and track daily tasks Operating mobile equipment such as FLTs (training provided if needed) Working with contractors and supporting permits to work and inductions

Skills required:

Experience in a hands-on, practical role (for example: facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, warehousing, construction, farming, or similar) Understands the importance of health & safety, can follow risk assessments, and safe systems of work Is physically capable of carrying out manual tasks, including lifting, working at height (ladders), and working outdoors when required Can organise their own workload, prioritise tasks, and complete jobs reliably Communicates well and works positively with engineers, team leaders, and contractors
